I live in Chisago City, Minnesota, with my husband, Larry Parker. Larry is a CNC Machinist at Regal Machine in Wyoming, Minnesota. The machine shop is a little slow right now, but hopefully will pickup soon. Larry is also on the Chisago City Council which keeps him in and out of trouble.
I work at Briggs and Morgan, P.A., in St. Paul as a Legal Administrative Assistant to three attorneys in the Trusts and Estates Department (aka Stiffs and Gifts). Business is good, death and taxes, you can't go wrong. Tax season is over, thank goodness!
Larry has two children, Ed Parker and Christine (Parker) Johnson. Ed is a Mechanical Engineer with Plexus out of Wisconsin. Christine is married to Peter Johnson and they have three girls (Jessica, Mikayla and Abby) and all live in Almelund, MN. Christine is a Social Worker for Chisago County and Peter works for CenterPoint Energy in Minneapolis. They enjoy their horses.
Jessica attends Concordia College in St. Paul. She is a junior in high school attending the post-secondary program at Concordia - very smart girl who wants to be a vet. Mikayla (Fifth Grade) just finished playing Dorothy in "The Wizard of Oz" production with the Festival Theatre in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin. Abby is in Second Grade and is enjoying the new litter of Boston Terriers (5 pups) and played a munchkin in the play.
I have two daughters, Lindsay (Crescenzo) and Brittany Willard. Lindsay is married to Joe and they live in Blaine, Minnesota with their two dogs, Chaos and Charlie. Lindsay is a Biomedical Engineer at EV3 in Plymouth, Minnesota. Joe and Lindsay met in the 8th grade and after she finished college and he finished a tour with the USAF, they married. Many of you might remember they were in a horrific car accident while Joe was stationed in Belgium. Joe broke his neck and Lindsay fractured her pelvis in 7 places. They are both fully recovered now. Joe currently attends Century College studying prosthetics/orthodics using his GI Bill benefits.
Brittany graduates from the UofM Twin Cities May 10, 2009 in Dietetics/Nutrition. She accepted a dietitian internship last February in Madison, Wisconsin which lasts for one year. After the internship and passing the test to be certified, she will be a Registered Dietitian.
My parents are Orpha and Harry Hilde. They arrived back in Minnesota today, April 18, 2009, after a three-day drive from Phoenix, Arizona. Spring must be here now since Mom and Dad are home.
That's all for now! Larry is back from turkey hunting in Almelund, Minnesota (his daughter's property), but he came back empty handed. I guess I'll have to go out and kill something at Cub Foods for dinner.
Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms.
